Owner/Lead Bookkeeper
Angel Gunter is the owner of Shoebox Solutions Bookkeeping, where she helps overwhelmed small business owners clean up, organize, and understand their books without judgment or confusion.
With 37+ years of experience, Angel understands how stressful bookkeeping tasks like receipts, payroll, QuickBooks, sales tax, 1099s, and tax deadlines can feel when business owners are trying to manage everything on their own. Her goal is to give clients a patient, dependable guide who can help turn financial chaos into clarity.
Angel works with contractors, service-based businesses, and other hardworking entrepreneurs who want practical bookkeeping support without judgment. She provides bookkeeping, cleanup services, payroll support, QuickBooks training, sales tax help, 1099 preparation, and CPA-ready books so business owners can feel more confident and prepared.

Outside of work, Angel enjoys camping with her husband and their two dogs, crocheting, researching genealogy, and spending time with friends and family.
Kari Owens-Medlock
Bookkeeper
Kari Owens-Medlock is a Bookkeeper at Shoebox Solutions Bookkeeping with more than 20 years of experience helping small business owners feel more organized, supported, and confident in their books.
She specializes in keeping financial records accurate and up to date through daily transaction management, bank reconciliations, and dependable bookkeeping support. Kari has worked with a variety of industries, including construction companies, groomers, massage therapists, and other service-based businesses.
Known for her attention to detail, reliability, and approachable personality, Kari believes bookkeeping should bring peace of mind—not stress or embarrassment. She treats each client’s business with care, helping owners stay on track and focus on what they do best.
Kari is an Intuit Certified Bookkeeper and holds an Intuit QuickBooks Level 1 Certification. Based in a small town in Texas, she enjoys reading, cooking, baking, crafting with her daughters, spending time with her dogs, Athena and Ruby, and serving others through church mission trips.
